FYI, did an overclock to 1.2Ghz (using "smartass" scaling profile), for a few days, and no crash to report. Anyway, and sorry to hijack these thread, any good android browser that does not stutter when flicking pages up or down? As a long time iphone user which uses atomic/safari browser a lot, the iphone 3GS and 4 is buttery smooth @ 600Mhz when flicking the pages. It annoys me a bit, and the "bearable" browser so far is Miren and Opera. Note that the overclock helps, but stutter remains. Rendering is not done via the GPU? Also, off topic or not when discussing Android here? regards, Andre | http://www.varon.ca On Mon, Mar 7, 2011 at 11:00 PM, JP Loh <[email protected]> wrote: > Somebody might have said this already but it's the Android OS that's > open source.
