Hi Sir,

The server actually ups but it says no services are enables so users cant use the server.
I also try to use the recovery mode and ask me to resume or update the grub.
When I choose the resume still users cant use the server.

What do you mean it "doesn't up the server"? Even memtest deoesn't boot? Choose the "recovery mode" as this will print a lot of info during the boot process and post the last few lines that you can see after choosing it.

  Hi Guys,

This morning i found my ubuntu server grub changes. Listed are the
option for my grub

ubuntu, linux 2.6.31-14-generic-pae
ubuntu, linux 2.6.31-14-generic-pae (recovery mode)
memory test (memtest 86+)
memory test (memtest 86+, serial console 115200)
ubuntu, linux 2.6.31-14-generic-pae (on /dev/sda5)
ubuntu, linux 2.6.31-14-generic-pae (on /dev/sda5) (recovery mode on
/dev/sda5)

whichever i choose it doesn't up the server.
Guy can you guide me how to restore my ubuntu server.
