Even though PLDT reports an increase to 344 Gigabit in and posted net profits of PHP35.5 billion (USD873.6 million) in full year 2012, up 12% from PHP31.7 billion in 2011 Additionally PLDT has made public statements such as: "3 Oct 2012 Philippines Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) is spending an additional PHP560 million (USD13.5 million) to triple the capacity of its internet gateway. Having already completed a major PHP67.1 billion modernisation programme" As I said earlier.. guess where I live (Makati/Mandalayun area) we didn't get modernized. In my personal opinion the people running that company.. well... my mom always said if you can't say anything nice...
