Is it really that big of a deal that people should stop using open source? It was a stupid bug and people learned a lot today.
Open source software is used in critical infrastructure today. Billions are being spent on open source development and it's not just for hobbyists anymore. I remember the days when I was told I commuted career suicide when I went open source. The only proprietary software I use nowadays are the firmware on this phone and my laptop and the websites I read. So I am biased. Yeah Whatever.
