Linksys routers and wireless I've been using Comcast cable since approximately 2000 and I don't recall ever having an outage. Installation took an hour or so and "just worked." About a year ago my modem died. After replacing it I had to call tech support for them to flick a switch or something to recognize it. The first person I talked to couldn't get it connected. I called back half an hour later, and the second person I spoke to fixed it up in a matter of minutes. Other than that minor issue, I have had flawless service from them. I think getting a good ISP is pretty much a crap shoot. If it works, count your blessings. If it doesn't, dump 'em. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
