I had a registration on VMware's site for Workstation 6 and it cost me
$99. Without upgrade pricing, VMware sells a download for $189. As far
as Workstation 7 on Fedora 12 goes, it works perfectly for me without
any patches or workarounds. Player 3.0 works fine as well, except that
there is a workaround required: Player crashes after three seconds or
so and the workaround causes problems with downloading VMware Tools
Also, Player 3.0.x has the ability to create VMs.
