Well, it's hard to say what will be available when it comes time to replace your 4:3 20" LCD monitor. But for now there appears to still be a few 4:3 monitors, and a 5:4 which I got my eye on, avail by HP, Viewsonic, Dell, LG on Pricewatch, pacificgeek, tigerdirect at some pretty good prices. I also think there'll be a pretty good used market as people unload their older unwanted 3:4 monitors off in favor of the new widescreen.
