Moot. I just ordered a Vantec NexStar 3 3.5" IDE to USB 2.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure from newegg.com. It was the only one to show 5 stars (based on 160 reviews). They describe the bright blue case as a positive; I'd prefer black but as long as it works I don't care. Not sure how to test it for the dirvish wiki other than to use it. If you have suggestions, Keith, please share them with me.
