There are a few tablets out there that are dual boot but not many.

The ubuntu tablet is coming.

I just did a search and found an application that is called terminal IDE.
It says it has a full android sdk environment Java/c/c++/html + editor and
other tools. Don't know how well it works. I just have a android phone which
is too small to bother with most of these tools.

Connectbot like mentioned previously is the basic ssh shell and the source
is available. https://code.google.com/p/connectbot/

I haven't tried a 10" tablet but the cheap ones have the same screen
resolution as the
7" tablets.
