I'm using Thunderbird 115.5.0 (64-bit). I want to change the number of
messages displayed in the message list pane. I gave DuckDuckGo a try and
found
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-change-thunderbird-layout. It
has a link for "How to change the layout" that says,
Click the menu button≡, open theCustomizemenu, then go toLayoutand
choose a layout.
I click on the hamburger icon, but there is no Customize menu.
I used to be able to shrink the size down to four entries, but the
latest update only lets me shrink it down to 8 entries. Any ideas on how
to fix this?
I'm classifying this as a DFWAB situation. Don't Fix What Ain't Broke.
What purpose is there in limiting setting that size? I'll try to post
this on their site, once I find the right page, but I'm doubtful I'll be
successful. On the support page I went to they have a little block that
asks, "Was this article helpful?" It has a thumb up and a thumb down
icon. I clicked on the thumb down icon several minutes ago, and it's
still showing me the spinning circle of dots, so it seems like nobody's
home.
Someone has already groused about this on
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1431340
One reply offers a way to use css to fix it. I'll look into that when I
have some spare time.
Meanwhile, grouse, grouse, grouse.
