The way I do it is I put all my updates in one directory (really shouldn't
matter whether or not its on an NFS drive, although I haven't tried), then
do a rpm -Fvh * This will update all installed RPMs whose updates are in
the current directory. Take note this MAY fail if the rpm being updated
needs another rpm to be updated beforehand. From what I observed, the
updates are done depending on how they appear when doing an ls.
The real problem is in the order the RPMs are updated and I haven't found a
way to do that yet.
