with regards to Migs' reply to Ms.Elizabeth Garcia's query, i would like to follow up
a question.
I have the same question and i'am still looking for ways & means of eliminating
totally the multi-login issues.
I have tried everything, but only to find out that checkrad.pl and the
simultaneous-use in users (using radiusd-cistron) can only work reliably with a single
authentication system. (quoting mike of cistron). Correct me if i am wrong, though.
Meaning, one box should be running cistron-radiusd's authentication and accounting.
My setup is i have 2 linux boxes running cistron, box1 is for authentication and box2
for accounting.
Worse, i have 2 different Terminal Access Servers. Super Stack RAS1500 from 3com and
Netserver Plus from USR. And much worse, my linux boxes cannot established a
connection to these NASes to find out if there are already connected users, who are
still trying to dial-in, with the use of finger. It says "connection refused".
Now, Migs, and to all the LINUX gurus, do i still have any option?
educate me please...
