posting it there in the hopes that all subsequent messages in this thread
will be handled there.
First thing we need to know is what kind of PLDT DSL account you have.
Why?
Corporate accounts (like mine) get a small subnet (sub-class C) with all
the requirements: a network address, a gateway, a broadcast address, and
five static IP addresses.
Residential accounts, on the other hand, use PPPoE (PPP over Ethernet),
and get dynamically allocated IP addresses. I have no experience with
setting up PPPoE but others on the list have, and if this is the case we
can give you some URLs to check out. :)
