Apples and oranges.  C/C++ are imperative programming languages.  LISP
is a functional language...

The only serious programming work I ever did with a non-imperative
programming language was an AI engine in Scheme which played Pusoy
Dos.  It was a relatively simple one under a thousand lines of code,
and one which forced me to think VERY differently...
