Which reminds me - I want to work on more of these little web systems
we'll be scattering around the school, and I guess it would be nice if
users had a single login/password.

Hmmm. Think shades of Passport.

Does anyone have any suggestions about the implementation? Right now I'm
not even worrying about integrating the data - I want to get the sites
up first! =) - but later it might be fun to authenticate against, say,
your LDAP thingy..

(Yes, I know, PHP has LDAP. Isn't that cool?)
