Oh good. We just got a P4 machine with an Intel mobo to be used as a server, and that's where I'll first try IDE raid using just mobo IDE. I just hope the new Intel motherboards (i845 chipset) are fully supported by the latest Linux kernel, not only in the IDE controller area.
