I've implemented RAID 1 on an ECS K7something with
built-in Promise FASTTRAK lite 100 software RAID,
I had it run on a SuSE 7.3 with a 2.4.9 kernel
I had to download the driver for it in the interney,
coz the driver is not opensource so it dont really
work with the default linux kernel drivers

Hope you have luck next time
