If the ICQ client you're using is Gnome/GTK based, it might be able to use
esound. Then configure XMMS to use esound as well instead of directly using
the soundcard as the output device. Or if you're using a KDE-based ICQ
client, then just use arts instead of esound.
Or get an SB Live. SB Lives and other emu10k1 based sound cards can play
upto 30 at a time.
