isn't it? the nice thing about OSS(Open Source Software) is that it
gives the user power to innovate...with access to the source code,
developers are given the freedom to customize it for their own needs...
don't you love this? isn't this reason enough to claim that OSS is
better?

hmmm...may tabbed-browsing(Mozilla) na ba yung IE and may print to PDF
na ba(Konqueror)? hehe...just curious...i still don't think IE's the
best browser...Have you ever heard of Apache, MySQL? Anyway, i'm just
glad i don't have to reboot everytime a windows application
crashes...hehe...sumasara na nga lang pala ng bigla sa win2k yung app mo
pag nag-crash...hehe...too bad when this occurs while you're working on
something very impt.

there are "linux ports"...

you know why there aren't "windows ports"? developers doing stuff for
Linux are hampered by the mere fact that Windows is closed-source which
increases the time exhausted when porting a Linux app...i believe apache
was ported to the Windows platform...

how come there arent any "windows ports" does this mean that MS and and closed source
is the way to go,
in the sense of innovation??? i dont see something like that in the open source
community, they always seem to port windows progs to linux.
there's no innovation there.... dont get me wrong i love linux! i was just
wondering......

"there's no innovation there" - huh? diba "innovation" yung continuous
development ng Linux per se?

> i also hate hearing M$ sucks!!!! fuck winblows!!! cmon, we are not activists

we are just ordinary people trying to get by. :-)

if you love Linux, I guess you're missing the point. Linux is a
revolution. Linux is a community. Linux is a religion. Linux is an
art. these are the things we love about Linux...the constant sharing of
ideas, code, rants, etc.

Linux is not about software to put down Windows, Unix, or any OS
whatsoever!

so stop the bitching about windows please...Bill Gates is a great geek,
he started his company from scratch thru his "cleverness" and wits. but hey behind
every great fortune is a crime.
i think as a businessman Bill Gates is one of the best!! i dont care what the others
think!

hmmm....no comment ako dito...just wish you're using a licensed Windows
OS...

by the way, people who love Linux also hate pirated software!
