is this conevention open to the public, or is this the one where you
have to pay to get in?

i have very little to no experience when it comest to securing a linux
box, and i think this is a great venue to learn from.

is there anything like a 'securing your linux box' seminar/training that
people in the list are holding or thinking of holding? kasi it's really
a great idea, and perhaps the org (PLUG Org) might be able to solicit
sponsors for something like that.

i've had my hands on a few books (system admin's guide, network admin's
guide) and a few HOWTO's but i couldn't call that experience.

or alternatively, will the Dream Team have a training/practice session
which perhaps other pluggers might be able to learn from? that would be
neat though... ;)
