A fact..
telnet-ssl is telnet over the same ssl encryption protocol used for
secure web access. The end result is similar to ssh, without all the
extra features. Of course, there are more ssh servers (and clients)
out there than telnet-ssl servers.

very well said. i like that...a tank. anyone know something more
powerful than a tank? i mean, ssh's security depends on the fact that
computers today can't possibly factor those hundred digit numbers in a
lifetime. anyone know any alternatives?
