Bad impression of what? <impish grin> Just curious. Want to know. Maybe we can help fix it. I have a friend who's being asked to conduct tutorials for, oh, roughly 30% of the student population. (It's a small school, so it's not that freaky.) A large portion of that 30% are students who have taken a lot of units of programming but aren't getting it. Not everyone takes to programming right away. Some people need it to be presented in a different manner. Some people need more time to process it. Some people need more creative exercises and ways of doing things. <shrug> <grin> We do what we can> > Arguably true, but then again, I'll bet ACENT was good for you, eh Sacha? :) I > know it is for me, and we have some new hackers here as well. ACENT was that for us - an opportunity to use our skills to serve others, a way to learn more, a place to hang out and meet other geeks... > Interesting thought... I remember coming across one of his papers - they were floating around after the whole fiasco - and not being particularly impressed by it.
