I dont know if understood well your question but for username ACL wouldnt it be just something like this

acl USER1 proxy_auth username1
acl USER2 proxy_auth username2
acl DAY time 06:00-18:00
http_access allow USER1 DAY
http_access deny USER1
http_access allow USER2 !DAY
http_access deny USER2

Yup, still per workstation. Thanks spikes.
Maybe squidguard can do it.

Let me site a sniiped example script

#squid.conf
acl COMP_HOURS time MTWHF 09:00-17:30
acl WKS1 arp 00:03:15:dc:fd:36
acl WKS2 arp 00:03:16:fc:4d:26
http_access allow WKS1 COMP_HOURS
http_access allow WKS2

This will only allow workstation WKS1 to access web mondays - fridays
from 9 to 530 pm. While WKS2 can access the internet without
restriction. Its still per workstation.

username

on squid, if its within lan you can just control users via mac address
so no need for username. e,g

acl WKS1 arp 00:03:15:dc:fd:36

time limit can also be done using squid eg

acl COMP_HOURS time MTWHF 09:00-17:30

about sa time for specific users alone?

ex:

user-full-access = NO LIMIT
user-1-access = 12pm to 1pm only access
user-2-access = 6pm to 7pm only access

is this possible? have any idea?
