I just found out that SD cards (or at least my SanDisk) is waterproof. It survived a soaking in my laundered pants. :) I now have a Tekram TR-621S USB hard disk case, for my old 20 GB Fujitsu HD... fat chance of that surviving a dunk. :) To make that on-topic for PLUG... it works fine as a USB Mass Storage device. But, how do you "Safely Remove Hardware" (as in Windows) in Linux? If you just unmount and disconnect the device, the kernel spews I/O errors. -- Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph .
