Suggestion lang. Patches ng mga pkgs ay para ma add or update ang mga pkgs.
Sa kernel madalas ang patch ay pang add or update. Pwede rin itong gamitin mo. Pero kung ang purpose ng kernel update mo ay para ma add or makilala ng kernel ang isang pkgs na nais mong i install. Kunin mo yung source code ng kernel na ginagamit mo then pwede mo itong gamitin to recompile or update your kernel. depende sa purpose ng update ng kernel mo.
