We should make that a topic for Software Freedom Day or a similar event.

How to:
- select a license for your work, based on your objectives
- "set up shop" on sourceforge, or your own infra (source management
CVS/SVN/arch, mailing lists, blogs)
- recruit collaborators/users/customers
- business model, if any


BTW, I have a server available for these... just give me time to set it up
(and learn Subversion and how to run a server)
