Joey Gurango is coming from the commercial software developer
perspective, while most open source success stories come from the MIS and
service provider sector. But, "professional open source" is getting some
attention - though it's coming from the Apache/BSD license school of thought
rather than the GPL (which forbids commercial binary redistribution).

I'm writing commercial software and it depends heavily on open source
(Apache and LGPL-licensed) components ... maybe I'll write more about it soon.

Apologies to those of you who think commercial software is evil :)
