yes thru its mac address... although mac address can be spoof also.. you
need a little help with your switch that only allows this mac address to
pass on the port that is attached to it... this will only work if your
switch is capable of doing that....

furthermore, iptables is capable to filter ethernet frames and packets thru
the combination of mac and ip address.. for example allow this packet if the
source ip address and the source mac address are equal to your value
otherwise drop it...
