Your solution is linode.com.  They are using UML which allow you to have
your own instance of Linux within their Linux server.  They have UMLs
for Redhat, Fedora, Debian, Slackware, Gentoo, etc.  Because its UML you
have root access and you can install anything you want.  This is a very
good way to practice administering a real server.
