yes, i've tried accessing it http://server/file.js but it only outputs the javascript as
plain text. could my mod_mono module be the culprit? i alsohave tried
upgrading my mono module but still go the same results.
what else could i look into?

troubleshoot your ASP script on your apache http server & observe standard html coding and use std-conformant browsers (firefox)....
