im having some problems on my zone transfer.
i added the zone already in my secondary server. when i type
#rndc reload
to see if my zone transfer works
i got messages on the logs
zone somedomain.com/IN: refresh: failure trying master

what seems to be the problem?
 and another question, what dns setting will i put on my secondary ?
nameserver 127.0.0.1 also or the primary dns ip address?

Yup. As long as the secondary dns is authorized.

If you are using bind, an example secondary forward zone would look
something like this:

zone "example.com" {
type slave;
file "backup/fwd/db.example.com";
masters {192.168.1.1;};
};

hth.
