If you use the modem function of a capable cellphone,
you will be charged with data calls (CSD or HCSD)
which is different from voice calls.

I don't know if there are modem couplers(?) for
cellphones.  Besides, you'll probably get a very slow
connection.  And also, using Sun 24/7, after 15
minutes, you get cut off.

So why bother?  If it is just to prove that it can be
done, good luck then.
