Hi!  These are a few things you might want to
consider:

1. Have you updated the firmware of the HBA to the
latest EMC recommended version?

2. Have you updated the QLogic Linux modules to the
latest EMC recommended version?

3. Have you defined partitions in your CX200? 
Generally speaking, as far as I know, we should not
mount /dev/sdc (the entire disk) to a mount point. 
Try creating partitions (e.g. /dev/sdc1, /dev/sdc2)
and then assign these the mount points.

Also, I suspect that the errors not only appear
whenever you tar to the CX200.  Please take a look at
the output of the dmesg command.
