I did thought about this before in a blog entry. I had a good email
exchange with Jun Iio of MRI about their project in some prefectures
in Japan called OSDS. Miss Clair is quite familiar with it since I
sent her a good translated link.

Just yesterday, I received an email from Benjamin Hill, one of the
community heads of Ubuntu and took interest in a wiki entry I made
recently because it was basically a proposal on the advocacy/use of
Ubuntu linux in the field of public education. It turned out that
Ubuntu "Head Hog" Mark Shuttleworth has deep interest in the same
field.

Give me a heads up in case something like this gets underway...I'll
make sure to bring boxes of Ubuntu CDs for distribution.

Start 'em young I'd say!
