Right now, I'm running Fedora Core 3(kernel 2.6.11.7) on a Dell Inspiron 510M.
Its the only one remaining with an IR , serial and parallel ports on the Inspiron series.
Pentium M(Dothan) 1.6Ghz/256MB-RAM/40GB HDD/IntelProWireless 2200BG/SXGA+ display.

Most of the hardwares are perfectly working under Linux. The only hardware I haven't tried
yet is the modem, because most of the time I connect to the internet via office LAN and wireless
accesspoint(hotspot) .

For the Intel ProWireless, I use the IPW2200 driver which works fine on my notebook.
And in order to get the highest resolution (1400x1050) for my display panel, I'm using
the 855resolution patch since this notebook is using the Intel 855GME chipset which includes
an onboard video.
