In Manny's case - his involvement would also mean that he'd be
offering volunteer services to an activity that his company also
offers. Definitely conflict of interest.

Also, PLUG isn't a commercial entity - while PLUG would appreciate
corporate entities that would advance its cause, PLUG cannot be
beholden to corporate interests being a non-profit organization. PLUG
as an organization can endorse individuals though. Endorsement of
corporate entities would be running against the organization's
constitutional provision that PLUG cannot be used to advance partisan
corporate, religious, political or ethnic issues.
