since i can't find someone who have a live production file server using JFS, so i did try it myself.
so far, JFS did reduced the CPU utilization by 30%, Disk IO by 10 MBytes per seconds and waiting time (users browsing the files over the network) by 10 secs (now it's only < 2s)
the question is, for how long will it stand? how about recovery in case of FS failure? for now, i'll stick to sourceforge's setup of using different filesystem for each nodes. file-based replication will be handy for now.
