What FS were you using before? If it's ext[23] then yes you're in to quite some performance increases. I've abandoned ext[23] a long time ago since reiserfs became the first journalling FS to come out and have the most primetime exposure. :)
what particularly sucks about ext[23] is the 32k limit to directory entries. At some point in a very busy mail server you will reach that limit! On 5/17/05, Ariz C.
