Also, I find it is better to give the partition a label with gparted and then use the label in fstab rather than /dev/sd??.Not only does this eliminate confusing fstab as to which device to mount, but it also means that my label is what appears in the GUI file manager, so I am also less likely to be confused, e.g.:
