Also, if you take your old box in (maybe after grabbing the hard disk out of it) for donation, you'll get a discount on your new purchase. I recall 10% or something like that. From a strictly $$ perspective, they also ask for a cash donation, so the discount might be a wash. But on the plus side, it will be recycled/reduced/reused responsibly.
