I found a GeForce 9500 GT in my card pile, I looked it up, it appeared that it would work. Put it in and then loaded the Nvidia drivers and tools, as soon as it did that I saw the total CPU load from from 70-90% down to 25% with peaks at 70% but they are spaced out. Before looking at the CPU loading on Gkrellm there wa just a green band at about 70% with grass going to 90+ %. Also the core temps have dropped by about 10C.
