When I digitize my LPs I'm using a USB turntable, but I used to do the same thing with the audio out from the turntable to the audio in on the computer's sound card. I use Audacity to record and save as .mp3.
Dick, I didn't realize that audacity could read the audio cdrom and write an .mp3 file. I'll use that.
For burning the audio to a CD-RW, have you searched for Slackware CD burning tools?
I've used xcdroast for a very long time -- for software distributions and similar files. Didn't know it would also write audio files. Thanks, Rich _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list PLUG@pdxlinux.org http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
