My laptop was working fine with the old Synology, but my desktop couldn't access it. With help from here I fixed it by adding an Active IPv4 Route in the router: Active IPv4-Routes Network Target IPv4-Gateway Metric Table wan 0.0.0.0/0 207.225.84.53 0 main lan 192.168.1.0/24 0 main wan 205.171.2.64 207.225.84.53 0 main wan 207.225.84.53 0 main In the above it was the lan entry that I added. Afterwards the desktop was able to access it. That's all it took, that is, I don't remember that I had to do anything to the old Synology. I'll continue poking around in the new Synology to see if I can find somewhere to allow connections. I did find, and enabled, a lot of permissions, that is, all that I could find. _______________________________________________ PLUG: https://pdxlinux.org PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
