Ted, Dirvish does incremental backups after the initial one. Until last year when I set up the LV I had always backed up the directories I wanted onto a single external drive. Never ran out of room. I don't recall how full the LV disks were, but there's plenty of room on a 2T drive for my backups. Thanks, Rich
