Ok here should be a relatively simple question to estimate mankinds impact on global warming.
Assuming that a volcano and the human race release similar proportions of "global warming gases" How many people over time does it take to release the same amount of "global warming gas" as an active volcano over a similar period of time? We should maybe try to use current scienific estimates of both values. On 5/19/06, Michael Halcrow <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

Maybe you are right; maybe you are not. But the consequences, if you happen to be wrong, are catastrophic, so a reasonable measure of prudence, given our current best estimate of the risk, is justified.
