Personally, I think the article exaggerates the death of CW. There are
about 6 million hams in the world, and many of the amateur bands are
CW-only.

It's a shame the US removed the CW requirement for the general license,
because its very own military still uses it through heliograph and other
means quite regularly.

I'm learning it just out of curiosity and for a good challenge. Maybe
I'll get my license some day.
