I think you would be surprised how few people notice.
I think it's gotten to the point that the average 20-something and 30-something who uses online banking knows that a green lock is important. Very few read anything before clicking the "do it anyway" button on the red danger screen. Very few notice the difference between the green bar and the green lock.
