This is a bit embarassing but yes. On the PC, I went to the listing of MusicInfoSCR.pm copied into clipboard, then pasted into wordpad and transferred it my Linkstation. All other plugins I downloaded, I downloaded using normal download -- click on a link and download window appears to open or save -- but for MusicInfoSCR.pm it just showed the listing of the plugin.
You could always hit the right mouse button to "Save target as..." the file.
Since I didn't know about wget, I resorted to copy & paste method.
