Thanks for the replies. I never use the slimserver web interface - if I'm sat at my PC I'd just go to the BBC webpage.
One option could be a "browse schedule" menu time on AlienBBC which would parse the schedule pages like this one: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/schedule/2006/07/05/day/ Just stick the requisite date in the URL and away you go. I fully appreciate it's a fair amount of work for someone, so I have no expectation that anyone'll do it, unless they have much more free time than I do!
