Update: Sleep worked fine from the SB remote, but of course MC keeps playing until the playist runs out.
My comments about switching tracks earlier were not accurate. What's happening is that the ending song stops too soon, then it backs up several seconds and re-plays a bit of the last song at a higher volume, and then abruptly changes to the next song.
